My Most Emotional Adventure so Far

(Dear Boots, I know how much you requested me not to publish this but sorry, I just have to...)

Call me exaggerated, but my life had been a big emotional adventure since Wednesday afternoon, May 23, 2012 (Oops, I just realized now that it's been a week already! Maybe that's why I have little red eyes now.). That was when Boots said that he'd leave for Singapore on Monday, May 28, 2012.

How to Renew Your Philippines (LTO) Driver's License within 15 Minutes

I couldn't believe it myself. Friends and the internet almost always say that the renewal of driver's license in the Philippines take at least an hour. I was able to do it in 15 minutes and it completely made my day.

Dedicated to My Ultimate Travel Source and Support

This Mother's Day is the perfect time to write about her. This thrill-seeker is a very fortunate girl to have a mom like her, because no travel would be possible without her support, which at some points, might qualify as "pangungunsinti". She helped me in searching for the best money changer for my first Hongkong trip. She went out of her way to deliver my stuff to a meeting place for our Mt. Pulag climb. She went with me to bus stations for the early morning assembly to the Hot Air Balloon Festival, and for the climb to Mt. Maculot. Before our Mt. Apo hike, she went with me to various doctors because a requirement for the hike was a "fit to climb" medical certificate, and she justified to the doctors that I could do it. She accompanied me to the airport on my flight to Davao for the Mt. Apo climb, and also waited patiently for my return.

Overnight Swimming at St. Agatha Resort: 15 Helpful Tips not Found in Their Website

  1. St. Agatha Resort is located inside a subdivision. The subdivision is very easy to find - it's on the left side of Cagayan Valley Road at Guiguinto, Bulacan if you come from the South.
  2. Via Mac Arthur Highway on a motorbike, the travel would take 1 hour on the Malanday-Meycauayan-Marilao-Bocaue-Balagtas-Guiguinto route.
  3. Since St. Agatha Resort is inside a subdivision, you will be asked to surrender an ID in exchange for a numbered ID to get in. Upon entering the subdivision, travel a little and you will see St. Agatha Resort on your left.
  4. The parking is free.
  5. The entrance fee for overnight swimming is P 250/head.

Tribute to my High School Family's Annual Summer Outing

I just thought of writing about it since we would be holding our summer outing again this weekend, for the 12th consecutive year! I was so excited and was already done with shopping for the things that I had to bring. The summer outing tradition started during our summer vacation when we were just incoming graduating students in high school. Back on those days and until 2008, the extreme lakwatsera in me was yet to be tapped and the summer outing with my high school friends was THE main event in my life. I made it a point to consistently join, with the little money that I had (savings from my little allowance). Sad to say, I missed one though (on 2006, due to an exam conflict).
