Overnight Swimming at St. Agatha Resort: 15 Helpful Tips not Found in Their Website

  1. St. Agatha Resort is located inside a subdivision. The subdivision is very easy to find - it's on the left side of Cagayan Valley Road at Guiguinto, Bulacan if you come from the South.
  2. Via Mac Arthur Highway on a motorbike, the travel would take 1 hour on the Malanday-Meycauayan-Marilao-Bocaue-Balagtas-Guiguinto route.
  3. Since St. Agatha Resort is inside a subdivision, you will be asked to surrender an ID in exchange for a numbered ID to get in. Upon entering the subdivision, travel a little and you will see St. Agatha Resort on your left.
  4. The parking is free.
  5. The entrance fee for overnight swimming is P 250/head.
  6. They don't inspect bags! I don't know if ours was a special case or they really don't do inspection.
  7. The website says that the maximum number of persons per room is strictly 6 pax. In our case, we were 11 pax in the room but it was okay. The rooms are too spacious even with 11 pax in it.
  8. Tip: to save on mattress rental, bring a sleeping bag!
  9. Although there are rooms that have 2 double beds and there are rooms with one queen-sized bed, the price is the same, P 3,800/night. So better state your preference to the front desk officer.
  10. There are rooms with connecting doors. It was a pleasant surprise for us because though we were separated in two rooms, we still ended up together by keeping the door open.
  11. There are 3 pairs of consumable drinks at the refrigerator: 2 C2, 2 softdrinks-in-can, and 2 bottled water.
  12. Don't eat at Bistro Ambrosio if you could. I had an unpleasant experience there, plus the food is quite expensive.
  13. The videoke rental costs P 800, but they only allow videoke until 10:00 pm. If you want to maximize your P 800, rent early!
  14. The wave pool closes at 9:00 pm.
  15. If you check-in at their hotel, their services will start at 8:00 am. So the free breakfast will be delivered only starting at 8:00 am. Even if you ordered for purified water, they will only deliver it to your room starting at 8:00 am.
Lastly...enjoy to your heart's content! An overnight stay would be worthwhile if enjoyed with friends! :)

    1. Hi! An entrance fee is required even if you check-in at their hotel. Bistro Ambrosio is the only food store inside, and there are no fast food restaurants right before entering the subdivision. The nearest commercial establishment is Puregold, which is near NLEX intersection. I think their contact number is in their website, I didn't get it because they only have a provincial (Bulacan) number so my friend who works in Bulacan was the one who contacted them. :)

    3. No. That's why you can't run out of reasons to avoid Bistro Ambrosio. They also have an area where you could grill your food.:)
