Singapore: Our Singapore Flyer Experience

The first part of our itinerary on our last day was to ride the world's largest observation wheel - the Singapore Flyer. After dropping our stuff at Boots' friend's place and having lunch at Lavender station, we went on our way to MRT's Promenade Station to get to Singapore Flyer. However, as with the case in Petronas (see post), we were clueless on where we should go from the station. To our luck, we were heading towards the right direction. It was really hot though. We also spent quite some time to find the ticket booth and the entrance but it went out well in the end.
Our first sight of Singapore Flyer; we were walking in the right direction after all.
We bought the standard ticket (Singapore Flight). The way from the entrance to the observation wheel is via Journey of Dreams (a museum showcasing the history of the Singapore Flyer).

Upon exit from the Journey of Dreams, we had to queue and after awhile, there we were, on a large cabin combined with strangers (there were around 10 of us, of different nationalities, I recall a couple of Westerners, an Indian couple, and a Chinese (maybe) family). We had a good view of the city and Marina Bay - we were at a higher elevation than Marina Bay Sands. Some say that the view was better at night, though, but we didn't have the time.
