Happy 16th Anniversary, Enchanted Kingdom! - Go-Kart, 4D and Fireworks!

Yesterday was the schedule of our hike to Mt. Pinatubo but it was only recently when we became aware that it was postponed. Coincidentally, on our flight back from Coron last Sept. 18, I saw an ad on Cebu Pacific's Smile Magazine regarding the 2nd Asian Sky Wizardry Fireworks Competition to be held on Enchanted Kingdom on October 22, as a part of their 16th anniversary celebration. I turned sad because it had a conflict with our Mt. Pinatubo hike, so immediately after knowing that the Mt. Pinatubo hike was postponed, I told Boots that we must go to Enchanted Kingdom.

Zoom Treetop Adventure at Circulo Verde - Silver Surfer + Superman Ride + Parachute Ride, in the City!

It was another "biglang ayaan, biglang galaan lakad" for me and Boots. This time, the destination was Circulo Verde in Calle Industria, Pasig. I've heard of this adventure spot through the radio over a year ago and me and my officemates back then wanted to go but did not know how. Unexpectedly, Boots asked me if I have heard of it and told me that he wanted to go but did not know how, too. Nonetheless, nothing could stop our extremely adventurous souls and my 200% (or 300%) resourceful self when motivated by travel and adventure, and a day after the topic was opened, we already knew how we'd get there. I was also able to get the operating hours, the rides, and the rates per ride via internet research.

Trip to Quezon Memorial Circle, Thrill-seeker Style

Boots was insistent on teaching me how to ride a bike so I agreed to give him a shot at it and we went to Quezon Memorial Circle. Quezon Memorial Circle had always been one of the most frequented places for family gatherings during weekend, and it's good to know that they continuously upgrade the park for new activities. They make sure that everyone would enjoy their visit there, no matter what age group or what interests you have. As for thrill-seekers like us, these were the things that caught our interest:

1. Aquabike - We pedaled our way on the pond for half an hour via tandem aquabike. This is at the Pedal and Paddle Area. There were various pedal-powered rides in this area, with varying rental rates for 30 minutes. The cost would not exceed P 150.
I wish to have one of these for the flood season.
