Since this is a travel blog and I've already featured my travels outside the Philippines, let us not forget the most basic thing we need when we travel abroad: a Philippine passport.

I first applied for a passport back in February 2009. Since a passport's useful life is only for 5 years, the passport would only be valid until February 2014, so I had to renew.

TIP FOR FIRST TIME OVERSEAS TRAVELERS:

Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months to avoid a hassle-free travel abroad. Having said that, be it known that you could have your passport renewed one year before its expiry date. One year before expiry date is also the earliest time you can have your passport renewed.

It was the night's main event. It was what I've been saving the space in my tummy for. It was my most-awaited part of our food trip.

Aside from bulalo (and rice :D), crispy pata is my favorite food. Talk about eating healthy.
